Cohiba Black is made with a dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper and a sun-grown Dominican Piloto Cubano binder that is aged in tercio (palm bark bales) for three years. The long filler blend is a mix of Mexican and Dominican tobaccos that are also aged three years before being rolled. Medium to Full body, the Cohiba Black is smooth and earthy with a subtle hint of cedar. The Cohiba Black is another example of Daniel Nunez outstanding blending skills.
Gurkha decided to upgrade the release of the Gurkha Sniper Spec Ops while keeping some details the same. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper was replaced by a Dominican wrapper and a blend dubbed 'Sniper' that is composed of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobacco and an Indonesian binder. Quesada Reserva Privada Cigars - $99.95 (33% OFF)
From the Dominican Republic, these exquisitely developed, Quesada Reserva Privada Cigars are a truly special release. These cigars have roots in three generations of the Quesada legacy. Each contains tobaccos from a vintage crop from 1997 - a historic year for a fine tobacco harvest - touted to be one of the very best. This very special tobacco had been stored in bales constructed from palm tree bark wrapped in palm leaves. A generation later, this harvest was unveiled and blended to perfection. Each cigar has been meticulously constructed and aged for an additional year.
