Your humidor will thank you for this...
If you're looking for a medium to full-bodied, hand-made cigar, the new Punch Gran Puro Nicaragua cigar from Punch is certainly worth a look. This Cuban-owned tobacco company is known for its excellent products and the Gran Puro is no exception. This cigar is made from Nicaraguan tobacco with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Though technically not a "puro" (of all Nicaraguan products), this smoke is nonetheless satisfying and subtle.
Reviewers report the flavor profile to be rich and earthy with just a hint of spice. The company describes it as having hints of cedar, leather and pepper. Though it boasts a traditional flavor profile, the colorful red, chartreuse, blue and white band gives this cigar a snappy, trendy look.
Punch Gran Puro Nicaragua cigars are available as singles and 20-count boxes. There are four sizes available -- Robusto (4 7/8" x 48), Robusto (5 1/2" x 54), Toro (6" x 54) and Churchill (7 1/2" x 54).
